Add social media links to your profile
Social Links
You can add up to 4 social links to your profile. These appear on your profile page with icons that are automatically detected from the URL.
Adding a Social Link
- Go to Settings → General
- Scroll to "Social Links"
- Enter the URL (e.g.,
https://github.com/yourusername) - Optionally customize the display name
- Click "Add Link"
Supported Platforms
Stasis automatically detects these platforms and shows the right icon:

For any other URL, a generic link icon is shown.
Mastodon Usernames
Stasis supports Mastodon's @username@instance format. This is the standard way to share your Mastodon handle.
Examples:
@stasis@fosstodon.org@john@example.com
When you enter a Mastodon username:
- Stasis recognizes the
@user@instanceformat - It shows the Mastodon icon
- It links to
https://instance/@userwhen clicked
You can also enter the full URL instead: https://fosstodon.org/@stasis
Removing a Social Link
- Go to Settings → General
- Find the link under "Social Links"
- Click "Remove"
Display Order
Links appear on your profile in the order you add them. To reorder, remove the existing links and re-add them in your preferred order.
